This is a 2 Day course that features an introduction to the professional field of Audio and Mixing Multimedia.

Course Objectives:

The work completed is available for individual portfolio use, in addition to employment opportunities at the company for those who qualify. Gain stronger interpersonal skills, increased knowledge, and fundamental skills on industry-standard applications and equipment.

Specific Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, you will have increased confidence in public speaking. You will be proficient in mixing audio files on Pioneer hardware with Serato DJ software. You will also learn the basics of DJ marketing and sales.

Format and Procedures:

We meet at Local Boy, 3583 Lindsay Street, Riverside CA 92509. Because this is a two-day crash course we limit each class to 6 students.

My Assumptions

We will give students a crash course in the entertainment industry. We communicate openly and promote teamwork. We encourage each student to follow their passion and set goals to reach them.

Course Requirements: ​Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from Local Boy. Local Boy provides all needed equipment.

We Use Macbook Pro Laptops.

We Use Serato and Pioneer To Mix.

Completion will earn you a course completion certificate.

Local Boy has trained hundreds of students since opening our doors in 2012. With this skill set, our students have gone onto do incredible things. Please note: we only allow 6 students per class. Because of this, each spot is nonrefundable. Payment in full is due at sign-up. If you are unable to attend, we will move you to another date.
